What is Legacy Project?
When the Legacy Project was formed in 2011, only 11% of the top appointed executives in local government were women. As of 2022, it was 29%.

It was that statistic that motivated Legacy Project's founders to create this group - a forum dedicated to helping women in government succeed through support, learning, and connecting.
Today, Legacy Project is nearly 200 members strong and continues to live our mission of supporting and empowering women.
We help women succeed in public service through:
-
Career-building
-
Professional development
-
Leadership skills growth
-
Networking with professional women in government

We encourage you to learn more, become a member and participate in our events and offerings.
